*Cecil County School Employees’ Federal Credit Union considers an account dormant when there has been no deposit or withdrawal on the account for a period of 6 months. At that time, dormancy notices are sent to inform you of your account status and a dormant account fee is assessed each quarter your account is dormant (see Rate & Fee Schedule for details). You can reactivate your account by making a deposit or withdrawal at least once every 6 months. If you fail to respond to our notices after 3 years of account dormancy, Maryland State Law requires us to send all funds in your account to the State of Maryland as abandoned property. The reclaim your property, you must submit a request to the Unclaimed Property Unit of the State of Maryland. Fees effective 2/1/2022.
